Grifo Hotel Charme & Spa

Hello, we are Gianni and Clarissa We stayed for a week for our vacation at the Grifo! And what can I say It was a beautiful experience! The hotel is a gem, there are few rooms and therefore relaxation is absolute The wellness center is a godsend, we also had massages that were phenomenal! The food is very good! We had breakfast and dinner, the latter is served poolside and transformed the already good experience in itself into something exceptional. Special mention for the maitre d' Enzo who pampered us from the first to the last day. The room was in the space in front of the main building but still cozy and clean Small things to mention on the negative side? Mattress not quite up to par and the fridge in the room a bit weak, but trifles nonetheless. It was a perfect vacation We do not rule out returning, perhaps in a room with a view of the Gulf of Naples! Ah! There is a fantastic terrace from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view Thanks to the staff and everyone for the wonderful welcome Best regards

We just spent 2 relaxing days at Hotel Grifo. We found an excellent facility made up of kind, professional, and welcoming people who are attentive to guests and their needs. Grifo Hotel is a truly authentic Italian experience, set in amazing surroundings overlooking the beautiful island of Ischia. From the moment you arrive, it has everything you need to relax, switch off and properly recharge. The pool area is fantastic, with incredible views and plenty of space to soak up the sun. The thermal spa is also brilliant, with lots of areas to just unwind and take it easy. The food was a real highlight. Breakfast had so much choice and everything was really fresh. For lunch, the Zingara sandwich was honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Dinner each night was just as good, with loads of fresh ingredients and great flavours – the chef is excellent. What really makes this place though is the people. The staff are so warm and welcoming, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The reception team were especially helpful anytime we needed anything. The waiting staff were also great – really friendly and attentive without ever being over the top. The shuttle bus to and from the port was so handy and always ran smoothly, which just made everything easier. And then there’s Enzo – the heart and soul of the hotel. He’s an absolute legend. Every day he took the time to properly chat with us, have a laugh and make us feel at home. He’s genuinely warm and funny, and those little moments really made the trip for us. On the morning we were leaving, he even made sure we had breakfast before heading off, which just sums up how thoughtful he is. We ended up eating in the hotel six out of seven nights, which says it all as we’ve never done that on any of our trips to Italy before. To Enzo and the whole team, thank you for such a memorable stay – we’ll definitely be back.
