Terrible experience, absolutely to be avoided! ​Slow, disorganized service, and completely lacking respect for the customer. We waited almost an hour just to get a fried fish dish. ​The worst part, however, came when it was time to pay: the bill was 61 euros, we left 70 euros, and another endless wait began. Just to avoid accommodating us and taking off that one euro difference to round it out, they kept us there waiting almost 10 minutes to give us the 9 euros in change, all in absurd and stifling heat. ​Trust me, a truly embarrassing lack of flexibility, professionalism, and empathy. We will never set foot there again!

Casa Celestino is on Via Chiaia di Rose, in the car-free village of Sant'Angelo d'Ischia, a former fishing settlement on the southern tip of the island overlooking the Bay of Maronti. The village is reachable by taxi or bus from Ischia Porto; for guests travelling from Naples, the hotel organises a transfer service from Capodichino airport or Naples Central Station.
