Mezzatorre Resort & Spa is a stunning establishment situated in Forio d'Ischia, at the end of the island Ischia's San Montano Bay and within easy reach of the town of Lacco Ameno. The imposing tower and villa are surrounded by 7 hectares of Mediterranean scrub and subtropical plants and boast fabulous views of the sea, Mount Epomeo, and Vesuvius.
The Mezzatorre Hotel has double rooms, Junior Suite, Deluxe Suites, Open Plan Suites with private Jacuzzi pool, Grand Suite and a Bungalow suite, this latter situated in a secluded chalet in the park. All rooms offer the height of luxury' and the very latest in modern comforts.
In either of the hotel's 2 restaurants, guests have the opportunity to savor delectable Mediterranean cuisine prepared using only the finest seasonal ingredients. Customised menus, created with the guidance of the hotel's expert nutritionist, are available for those clients following a special diet. For romantic evening meals the Chandelier Restaurant, with its breathtaking view of the sea and menu of gourmet Mediterranean cuisine, is one of Ischia's most exclusive dining venues; a favourite with hotel guests and non-residents alike.
Open for both lunch and dinner, the Mezzatorre's Sciuè Sciuè Restaurant, with characteristic palm leaf roof, is situated close to the swimming pool right at the centre of the private bay and provides a delightfully relaxed setting where to taste dishes inspired by the great Neapolitan culinary tradition. A generous buffet breakfast is served on the cliff top terrace overlooking the Resort´s private beach. Again, a superb range of delicious alternatives are available for those guests following a low calorie, low fat diet.
The Mezzatorre's Health & Beauty Centre offers guests the opportunity to indulge in any of a vast selection of the most modern and exclusive health and beauty treatments, performed by highly qualified personnel. In accordance with Ischia's centuries old spa tradition, the island's thermal water and volcanic mud feature in many of the treatments available.
An attractive swimming-pool with heated sea water is located on one of the terraces sloping gently from the tower towards the sea. Those wishing to bathe in the warm water which laps the shores of Ischia, follow a pathway from the hotel directly to one of the island's most charming beaches.
