Miramare e Castello

Beautiful hotel that feels like a 1920 movie set . The only few negatives were the bed was way too hard . Air conditioner noisy . Internet almost never worked. On one occasion a male working the front desk gave me the wrong room key . He should have ask my last name to confirm . Had us questioning how secure it was to turn in our key everyday. The staff are lovely. Surprised me with a birthday cake for breakfast ! We had breakfast included. Which was in this beautiful area . We did try the spa which was nice . The beach food menu is misleading. We ordered a pizza and received a big circle of bread with raw cheese & raw tomatoes on top ?

Wonderful hotel in a residential part of the island. Beautiful sea views and the ancient castle is right outside the window. The staff is impeccable, the level and consistency of the service is akin to the finest hotels anywhere. Spend a few extra euro and request a first floor room on the sea side, they have enormous sun decks with day beds. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to experience authentic Ischia away from some of the heavy tourist areas.

The hotel is in a great location by the beach and within walking distance to plenty of bars and restaurants. The boat ferry is next to the hotel and you can easily get a bus or taxi from the hotel. Our room was as described with a sea view. The room was clean and well equipped for everything we needed. The staff were all knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. We had a fantastic time and would recommend the hotel highly.

Premetto di essere un cliente di questo hotel da svariati anni e nell'arco di questi ho notato un continuo peggioramento, nella struttura, nei servizi e nel personale. Pur pagando profumatamente per un 5 stelle siamo rimasti per tutto il soggiorno senza shampoo ,fin quando non l'abbiamo fatto presente alla signora del piano che promanibus ha provveduto alla richiesta senza pero' provvedere personalmente a sostituire il dispenser. La cosa che più di tutte mi ha lasciato sconcertato è stata la colazione dove la sala non era climatizzata ma munita di alcuni ventilatori inappropriati ,trovo assurdo che per tutto l'arco del soggiorno ho dovuto patire il caldo per la loro inefficienza, inoltre i prodotti esposti alla calura non avevano un buon sapore e per l' esposizione degli stessi sembrava di stare ad un mercatino rionale.Dulcis in fundo la spiaggia un ammasso di lettini che lasciavano poco spazio alla privacy, inoltre abbiamo dovuto patire le scorribande di bambini del lido adiacente che con pallonate e schiamazzi si introducevano tra i nostri ombrelloni sotto gli occhi non curanti dei bagnini. E' vergognoso pagare 360 € al giorno per un 5 stelle inesistente !!!! L'unica nota positiva resta la professionalità e la gentilezza del barman Agostino e del direttore di sala Marco e naturalmente il bellissimo panorama.
