A five-star hotel steps from the Aragonese Castle, set directly on the sea in the historic village of Ischia Ponte.

Miramare e Castello has 41 rooms, 23 of which face the sea, furnished with a mix of antique pieces and contemporary design; original 1950s Vietri ceramic floors are still in place in some of the common areas.

The hotel has two restaurants: the Ristorante Miramare, where breakfast and Mediterranean cuisine are served overlooking the water using local, seasonal ingredients, and Ristorante La Lampara, open to non-residents, where the chef serves his interpretation of Ischian and Neapolitan cooking against one of the most dramatic views on the island.

Stay at Miramare e Castello, and you'll enjoy direct access to the sea from the hotel's private beach, as well as two swimming pools: an indoor pool filled with Ischia's thermo-mineral water and an outdoor pool lit by polychromatic lighting each evening.

Wellness is handled by the Alysandy Spa, with a Finnish sauna, a chromotherapy Turkish bath, an emotional shower and three treatment cabins. The roof garden features two panoramic Jacuzzis and a small fitness area with views of the sea and the castle.

Beautiful hotel at the quiet end of town, on the beach, with a direct view of the Castle Aragonese. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The hotel is very nicely decorated and the rooms are cozy. We really enjoyed our time here. The rooms and food is very reasonably priced. They have a great spa and a pool with thermal waters shared with their sister hotel next door. We had the couples massage and body treatment which was spectacular ! I highly recommend this hotel!

Loved our experience here. Our flight got canceled and had to handle travel plans last minute, deciding to do Ischia out of the blue since our other planned destination was out of the question due to volcano eruption. From the airport I was able to book and get here within an hour and got the cutest room with full seaside view also over looking the castle. The location literally cannot be beat. The castle was a short walk away, restaurants, shops, gelato everywhere. I would def choose to stay here again even not under an emergency. The room had cold AC but sometimes we slept with open windows to fall asleep to ocean wave sounds. The breakfast buffet was great because they had tons of salad fixings, pastries, good coffee. Upon checkout I only paid $30 euro for the $10 daily tax. Plumbing was fine and we didn’t experience any bad issues as described in other reviews, although the shower pressure isn’t as strong as in Roma. Desk staff super helpful with taxis and there was also a superb pizza place across the cobble stone street. Did I mention the sand from the beach is immediately in front - as in no sidewalk exists except for sandy beach. 10/10 do recommend this hotel! ❤️

Beautiful view, but that's all, terrible breakfast with stale products, little variety, almost nothing fresh. The dinner, mostly terrible, side dishes inedible, first courses good, desserts inedible, the lasagna made with little pieces of pasta, there was only a good sauce, pasta, almost nothing, hmm, very strange. Old rooms, to be considered a 3-star but that's already too much, staff very attentive to the customer's needs but it's not enough

We stayed at the Miramare e Castello as a family and it was a simply wonderful experience. The location is enchanting, with a breathtaking view that provides emotions from morning to evening. The rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with every comfort. The real added value is the staff: professional, smiling, and always attentive to every need. They make you feel pampered from the beginning to the end of your stay. The cuisine is excellent, with well-prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and flavors that make every meal a pleasure. The private beach is also a great strong point, perfectly organized and ideal for relaxing. A property that combines elegance, hospitality, and quality in every detail. We truly felt at home and will definitely return. Very well-deserved five stars.
