Miramare Sea Resort & Spa

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel for a week, and we genuinely don’t have a bad thing to say about our experience. Firstly, the facilities are excellent, the views are beautiful, and the overall standard of the hotel is exceptional. Everything has clearly been thought through to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. We were also incredibly impressed by the service across every department, but in particular, the waiting staff. We were looked after especially well by the amazing Keimer and Gabriele, who were both absolutely lovely throughout our stay. They went above and beyond, not just to provide fantastic service, but also to get to know us and form a genuine bond with our family. That personal touch made such a difference, and we really appreciated how much care and attention they gave us. It made our holiday so much more memorable! I would particularly recommend having dinner at the hotel. The level of care and attention from the staff makes the experience feel incredibly personal and special, and the food itself is excellent. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere truly special. We will definitely be returning!

⭐ Terrible experience, very high costs and standards not up to par. Our experience between Apollon and Miramare in Sant'Angelo d'Ischia, properties of 4 and 5-star categories respectively, was unfortunately terrible, especially considering the very high costs of the stay. At the Apollon, we had booked a room for about €450 per night. We found ourselves facing an accommodation that, as we personally encountered and documented with photographs, had cracks on the walls, deteriorated finishes, scratched and chipped furniture, stains, and several obvious signs of poor maintenance. After our complaints, we were moved to the 5-star Miramare, a solution that should have remedied the situation. Unfortunately, even here the experience was far from expectations: we found ants in the room, a smell of mold, problems with the air conditioning area, and a crib intended for our baby delivered dirty and not in adequate condition. Also in the breakfast area, we found dirty seats and some deteriorated and rusty metal elements, aspects that particularly surprised us in a 5-star rated property. The location and the view of Sant’Angelo are certainly beautiful, but a splendid view of the sea cannot, in our opinion, justify such high rates when cleanliness, maintenance, and attention to detail are not up to the declared category. When you spend €450–590 per night, especially in 4 and 5-star properties, you expect a significantly higher level of attention. A very disappointing experience for us and an absolutely unsatisfactory price-quality ratio!

Magnificent stay at the Miramare and Apollon. Our suite was one of the most beautiful surprises: elegant, impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished. The terrace was wonderful, full of flowers and overlooking the gulf. In the afternoon it remained pleasantly in the shade, and the natural ventilation, together with very efficient air conditioning, made the room perfect even on the hottest days. Very comfortable bed and great tranquility while resting. The level of service is also very high. The Manager impressed us with his presence, attention, and courtesy; the maître d' was equally professional. In general, we found the staff to be kind, precise, and helpful in every area of the property. The Miramare restaurant deserves a review within the review. Very fresh fish, refined cuisine, and a terrace that is worth the trip all by itself. Dining with the sound of the sea right below you, watching the bay of Sant’Angelo light up in the evening, is an unforgettable experience. The breakfast is also excellent, very pleasant especially for the setting and the service. The property offers practically everything: beach, swimming pools, thermal baths, spa, internal connections, and shuttles. Precisely because the complex is very large, we found it very convenient to be able to move around without effort. It is a hotel that I would recommend to those who value service, the quality of the dining, and the beauty of the location. We would gladly return. We also discovered the more festive side of the property: dinner, music, dancing, and, to end the evening, splendid fireworks over the sea. A beautiful contrast after a day spent between thermal baths and relaxation.

If I had to choose three words to describe Miramare and Apollon, I would say: sea, wellness, and beauty. The location in the bay of Sant'Angelo is extraordinary. The property follows the coast and allows you to spend the entire day between pools, thermal baths, the beach, and the sea without almost noticing the time passing. We particularly appreciated the thermal baths and the circuit in the different pools. For us, the effect on our skin was surprising: after the baths, it had become incredibly soft and smooth. Naturally, we are talking about our personal experience, but it was one of the most beautiful surprises of our stay. The Miramare platform carved into the rock is also beautiful, with sun loungers and direct access to the sea via a large staircase: swimming there almost gives the feeling of diving from a boat in the middle of the sea. The water is transparent and you can see the rocky bottom perfectly. Excellent cleanliness, very well-kept environments, and staff always present without being intrusive. We also found the spa, thus completing a truly remarkable wellness offering. In the evening, you just have to step out from the Miramare terrace to find yourself in the small square of Sant’Angelo, amidst music and nightlife; once back in our room, we slept very well. A place I would recommend especially to those looking for a high-level beach and relaxation vacation, without giving up the possibility of going out in the evening and experiencing the island. The Ferragosto evening of August 15th was also unforgettable: a special dinner organized with great care, accompanied by music and dancing, and concluded with a fireworks display over the bay. With the sea in front and Sant’Angelo illuminated, the atmosphere was truly magical.
