Three rooms, plenty of comfort

The relais has three rooms, all with sea views: the Double with Sea View, the Family with Sea View and the Suite with Sea View with Jacuzzi. All have air conditioning, classic-style furnishings, TV and a private bathroom with shower, hairdryer and toiletries.

A homemade breakfast

Every morning in the garden, a traditional Italian breakfast is served — homemade cakes, coffee and fresh orange juice. A slow, unhurried start to the day before heading down to the sea.

Maison de Charles

This is what sets Relais Bijoux apart from any other B&B on the island. By arrangement, host Carlo prepares private dinners using local produce, in an intimate, family atmosphere that guests consistently describe as the most memorable part of their stay. Not a restaurant, not room service — something closer to having dinner at the home of a friend who knows the island better than anyone.

Garden, pool and surroundings

The freshwater panoramic pool is the ideal alternative to a day at the beach. The relais is 500 metres from a bus stop with connections to the centre and port of Ischia, and offers a free shuttle service to and from the port. The Bay of San Montano is about 15 minutes by car.

The climb of Mount Everest

I stayed here with my family in August, everything was far from COMFORTABLE. To get there you have to go up an absurdly high hill, no taxi at night was willing to take you up there and we struggled every evening to figure out how to get back to the room. There was no reception and no one to ask if there was a problem at night (no security cameras). The rooms were old and very old, lacking maintenance, COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE PHOTOS, we found a broken bathroom door, a broken wardrobe knob, drawers that opened with difficulty, non-existent wifi, weak power in general, no lights on at night (you could have any unexpected surprise at night since you couldn't see anything). The pool looks like an oasis in the photos but it is a dirty tub that was never cleaned in the 5 days we were there. Lack of staff, the woman who prepared breakfast was the same one who did the rooms, taking a grand total of 5 minutes (very strange, she only made the beds and sprayed some kind of perfume). The breakfast was poor and full of insects and ants on the tables. The only positive note is the view and Mr. Carlo who is a good person and helped us whenever he could, but for the rest, never again. So much for a bijoux......

My mother, my partner, and I stayed at this property in August; we had a wonderful time and got to know Carlo's amazing staff. Spacious and spotless rooms, excellent and rich breakfast! The location is excellent for those who, like us, do not like the crowds but are at the same time 2/3 minutes from Ischia Porto. The atmosphere is truly magical and relaxing.

Perfect stay on a beautiful island

It is a very beautiful place to stay, the hotel is charming and the view is stunning, you just want to sit all day and just admire the beauty of it all. Carlo and his team, especially Anna, are making your stay remarkable, they help you however is needed, have recommendations and when you are lucky, you can join for Carlos’ homecooked (delicious!) family dinners. We met a lot of very nice people from all over the world, also staying at Relais Bijoux, it has been both inspiring and enchanting! A really perfect holiday, thank you all🤗!

Relais Bijoux is located less than 2 kilometers from the Port of Ischia. The sand beach in Ischia is about 10 minutes away by car, and the Bay of San Montano about 15 minutes away.
