Cute hotel with kind and helpful staff

For the money, this is the best hotel experience we could have hoped for. The location is a little out-of-the-way, but the owner Antonio picked us up from the bus stop upon our arrival, and also was kind enough to ferry our luggage to the port at Forio on our departure day. We had a decent sized, clean room, which was all we needed. The views from the outdoor dining room, where we had morning breakfasts and one dinner, are lovely. Breakfast included fresh fruit, small cakes, and bread and cheese. Although we could have eaten at Sweet Poseidon every evening - the night we chose to eat on-site was delicious - we opted to catch a bus into town and explore restaurants. Be warned that larger taxis can't fit on via Costa so if you take a taxi, make sure it's a small one.

Che dire... questa è la settima volta che torniamo... E questo basterebbe ... Voglio però sottolineare, se ce ne fosse bisogno, che ormai quando arriviamo ci sentiamo come a casa... L'accoglienza e la disponibilità sono sempre al top. Antonio e la mamma Titina con la loro cucina casalinga ci viziano...Giusy (sorella di Antonio) ci coccola con i dolci preparati ogni giorno da lei, e Tiziana (moglie di Antonio) con la sua gentilezza e simpatia ci accoglie sempre con affetto e ... nel caso serva ci consiglia con la sua competenza (è una nutrizionista), e Natalia (loro collaboratrice) è sempre gentilissima e disponibile con il suo bellissimo sorriso. La posizione è ottima per andare ai Giardini Poseidon e la vista dalla camera è spettacolare... La pulizia è perfetta e la pace che si gode (assenza totale di rumore del traffico) è massima. Grazie a tutti, continuate così... e alla prossima Mario e Doretta

In paradise as part of a big family

We - me and my wife- spend 14 days in Ischia, a piece of paradise. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere romantic and the feelings of being alive and enjoying it all makes, for us, a sensation to be in heaven. The sea, the food,... a dream. But it won’t be like this in another place. Cause Sweet Poseidon fitted for us. The manager, sweet Antonio, and his family, treated us like family members. Everything we need (even a minibar in our room) was prompted provided by Antonio. The room itself, with a breathtaking view, was pretty comfortable. And a very good breakfast was available. (to dinner, local food prepared by the ‘family hosts’) We will go back FOR SURE, and always in this wonderful place.

The view is fabulous. Food was excellent. Swimming pool was a real treat. Shuttle bus into town and a pick up from the bus stop was a brilliant touch. Top tip if you are driving yourself be sure to contact the owners for directions in advance. We didn't and the route we took was very very narrow, we only just fitted and we were in a small car. The route the owners recommend that we learnt of after arriving is absolutely fine.
