Tenuta Poggio in Forio is a truly special place. Chef Gennaro’s cuisine is exceptional, with every dish beautifully prepared and full of wonderful local flavors fresh from the hotels garden. Francesco, Claudia and the rest of the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel at home from the moment you arrive. And Antonio, without a doubt, is the most accommodating taxi driver we’ve ever encountered in our world travels. Add the breathtaking views over the Bay of Naples the beautifully kept, comfortable accommodations, and you have an unforgettable Ischia experience. A gem we would happily return to!

It is not the first time we have chosen Tenuta del Poggio Antico for our vacations in Ischia: this is the fourth, and every time the confirmation is the same, or rather even stronger. Returning there means finding a warm and familiar welcome, as if the time passed since the last visit had never gone by. Enormous credit goes to Francesco and Alessandro, who with their kindness, availability, and attention to every detail truly make the difference. You can breathe in an authentic care, the kind typical of those who manage their own home with passion and not just a simple hotel. The rooms are well-kept and comfortable, and the entire property conveys that feeling of a home away from home that is hard to find elsewhere. A separate chapter deserves the cuisine: breakfast is simply splendid, rich and cared for in every detail, the perfect way to start the day. But it is the lunches and dinners that leave a mark, thanks to the products from their garden that offer genuine and authentic flavors, difficult to forget. You really feel the difference when the ingredients are grown with care just a stone's throw from the table. A special mention also goes to the pool, set in a beautiful and well-kept garden, which offers a corner of absolute peace. And what about the sunset? The view over the sea of Forio is simply splendid, a spectacle that alone is worth the stay and that makes every evening unforgettable. I highly recommend Tenuta del Poggio Antico to anyone looking for a stay in Ischia characterized by quality, authentic hospitality, and breathtaking views. As far as I'm concerned, thanks to Francesco and Alessandro, this certainly won't be the last time I return!

Charming place, elegant and welcoming structure, like being with family at the same time. Pool in the garden and spectacular view. The owners are very kind and welcoming. The breakfast is excellent.
