Palazzo Manzi Terme & Spa

Palazzo Manzi is a prestigious location situated in the historic center of Casamicciola The thermal baths and the spa represent a strong point. The experience, however, was not one of the best. The sore point was a sloppy and unclear front office. Well, at the time of booking, among the various benefits offered by the Manzi are a free entrance for 2 people to the Negombo Thermal Park as well as a 50 euro credit to be used at the spa, with the only condition being a stay of at least two nights. Therefore, the same benefits regardless of the length of the stay. The assigned beach umbrella agreement at Negombo in the first and second rows follows the order of booking. However, as far as I am concerned, my timely request for a front-row spot for August 15th received no response, nor did my complaints have any effect. In a repetitive and fatuous manner, the administration continued to invoke and the order of booking, paradoxically neglecting that the front-row spots were free and remained so for the entire day. Another bad lapse in style was the request by the reception for a 15 euro contribution for the staff, billed in the balance of drinks and extra expenses. As for breakfast, nothing special if you consider the offerings of other properties of the same level. I can say, reluctantly, that having opted for Palazzo Manzi was of no benefit to me.

I spent a fantastic week at this property... so many services offered included with the room rate such as breakfast (EXCELLENT, among the best I have ever had in a hotel), the Spa and thermal center, beach service with an adjoining outdoor thermal park, rooftop pool on the 4th floor, shuttle service to the centers of the neighboring municipalities (Lacco Ameno, Casamicciola, and Ischia Porto) in addition to the courtesy and kindness from ALL the staff... from the breakfast guys, to the reception staff, the restaurant guys, the pool and Spa staff, and especially to the great Francesco, the driver who satisfied my needs and those of all the other hotel guests for the various trips in every way possible.. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Truly the best hotel experience in our trip to Italy. The accommodations are stunning, the staff so helpful and kind, the spa incredible, the breakfast lovely. A much needed relaxing five star experience on Ischia. The rooms are clean, welcoming and luxurious. The staff was there to help personalize our stay and advise on anything we needed. The spa and its facilities were lovely, particularly the sauna and steam circuit and the mineral pool. The shuttle to town was helpful. We cannot wait to visit this lovely property again!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this hotel in Ischia. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how beautiful the property was. Everything was impeccably maintained, spotless, and the atmosphere was both elegant and relaxing. What truly made this hotel exceptional, however, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with—from the hotel manager to the front desk team, concierge, and driver—was warm, professional, and genuinely committed to making our stay unforgettable. Their hospitality was outstanding. A very special thank you goes to Manuel, who welcomed us each morning at breakfast and also serves as the sommelier in the restaurant. Manuel is one of those rare people who leaves a lasting impression. He is genuinely kind, thoughtful, and always went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Whether he was recommending wines, making conversation, teaching us Italian, or simply checking in to ensure we were enjoying our stay, he did everything with such sincerity and warmth. Interacting with Manuel truly made our trip even more special, and we looked forward to seeing him every day. He even insured we had a meal made for us for our early plane ride home, and would pack special snacks when we were having a beach day. Thank you again Manuel! :) It’s the people who often make a destination memorable, and this hotel has assembled an exceptional team. We left feeling well cared for and already talking about when we can return. If you’re visiting Ischia, I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. It was a five-star experience in every sense.
